Graham Frazer joins London ICC Commission

Graham Frazer, vice president, Maritz Travel Europe has been appointed to the London Mayoral Commission examining the potential for a London International Convention Centre.

After training as a barrister and graduating with a degree in international economics, Graham Frazer joined the incentive travel industry as travel director for S&H Travel Awards in South Michigan in 1973. In 1974 he was founder, director and a major shareholder in Travel Awards Ltd, which became one of the leading incentive travel companies in the UK .

After selling the company in 1992, Graham joined Maritz Limited as divisional director of their travel division, becoming managing director when Maritz Travel became a separate legal entity. He then became chairman in 2001. In 2002, he handed over to a new management team and took a broader European role.

Gerry Acher, chairman of the Commission said: “It is a great advantage to have someone of Graham’s outstanding travel and incentives experience join the London ICC Commission. His first hand experience of the challenges involved in some of the largest and most sophisticated conference and delegate events will be invaluable to the work of the Commission.”
