The London mayoral commission set up to decide whether London needs a new
world-class convention centre, is to be chaired by vice-chair of business group
London First Gerry Acher, it emerged this week. Acher, who is also a
non-executive director of Camelot, will examine the business case for an
international convention centre in the capital.
