ACCESSING THIS WEBSITE

This site supports accessibility and is committed to ensuring everyone can access the information available. The layout of the site also takes into account users who are visually impaired or have difficulty using a mouse. It is fully compatible with popular screen reading software, and can be navigated using just a keyboard.

This build according to the W3C guidelines for level AAA accessibility and has been tested and approved using the Bobby watchfire Level 3 test. There are certain elements of this website however, such as video and press cuttings, that we regret do not include transcripts at this time.

Access Keys

Access keys are shortcuts to provide quick and easy access to common pages without the need for a mouse and have been included to assist users with disabilities navigate around the web site.

How to use access keys

PC/Windows: press `alt + access key number` to highlight the link, then `enter` to go to the corresponding page.
Macintosh: press `control + access key number` to highlight the link, then `return` to go to the corresponding page.
Listed below are the access keys we use consistantly on every page of the site, within text-only mode:

1 - jump to the top of the page
2 - jump to the main menu
3 - jump to the sub menu (where applicable)
4 - jump to the main content

Text Style And Size

The site stylesheet can be switched to a simplified version by clicking the link `View Text Only` at the top of the page, or by using your browser settings. This will allow you to view the site in your preferred format.

Some users might find the site easier to read by increasing the size at which text is displayed. To do this you can adjust your browser`s settings by going to the View menu, then select `text size` or `text zoom` or `zoom` and increase the size of the text.

PDF files

These will be opened in a new browser window to allow you to switch between the site and the newly opened page.
